Get Involved & Give Your Time

We need volunteers to help at the Learning Support Centre from 15:00 to 18:00 with:

• Literacy and numeracy classes and homework
• Creativity classes such as sewing, beading, drama, art, dancing, singing etc.
• Go Green activities such as the herb and vegetable garden, recycle, etc.
• Story reading to children in Afrikaans and English

Sponsor / adopt a child

• Learning support in reading and spelling for R200 per month.
• Purchase of school uniform, shoes, bag, school fees and stationary at R1000 per child per year.
• Purchase of personal necessities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, face cloth, soap, roll-on, spread, brush, casual clothes, etc.

Donations

The Green Door Literacy & Creative Education Community Project is a registered Non-Profit Organization  (070-664 NPO) and Public Benefit Organization (9300537374 ) with an 18A status and can supply Tax Certificates for financial support and any other qualifying donations.

Donations of products and services can be made directly to the Centre by making arrangements with Chanene.
